America Has a President not a King, That was Decided by the American Revolution
Hello, my name is Steven D. Brewer Sr. I am a 72-year-old Marine Corps non-combat veteran of the Vietnam era. I hate what has happened to America, especially since the Reagan administration. For twenty years, I researched the 1%'s greed and hubris and their death grip on America. I have just completed writing a book based on my research with sources cited. I found many of the things we have been taught about America are outright lies. The term "woke" is used to keep the people from learning the truth about atrocities committed by the wealthy throughout mankind's history, especially in American history. I truly think America would not be so divided if the people learned the real history and it would give insight into what we must do before it is too late.
The problem when a democracy is turning into an autocracy is most people think, '"it doesn't affect me so why should I care?"… until it does, by then it is too late! The same people stole the American Republic from the people in 1791 and kept 99% of the people from being able to exercise the rights and freedoms afforded to them in the U.S. Bill of Rights. Trump and all his 1% cronies are the same class of people who fought against amending the Constitution with any individual rights.
During the American Revolution, the Continental Congress was the government of the colonies. There were two main political parties then, the Federalists, who were the landed gentry and their minions. lawyers, accountants, etc. who kept their slave laws in effect. The other party was the Anti-Federalists, who represented what the people wanted, what was promised in the Declaration of Independence.
Both Parties were represented in the Constitutional Convention. The Constitution built a republic, but the federalists wanted the same type of government they had in the colonies, in their fiefs in the European feudal systems and in every empire for 5,000 years before that. Complete control over the people they were using to build their families fortunes.
After the Constitution was finished and being ratified, the Convention turned to the task of adding individual rights and privileges to the Constitution. The Federalists, like the "Constitutionalists/originalists" of today wanted the Constitution to stand as written with no rights and privileges for the landed gentry's workers, the people. After much heated debate, the Anti-Federalists won and the Bill of Rights was finished, ratified and added to the Constitution. But the Federalists were not done. The American government was built from the Constitution, a republic, but it would last less than three years.
In President Washington's administration, Alexander Hamiliton, a Federalist, was the Secretary of the Treasury. It was Hamilton's responsibility to set the economic policy for America. Hamilton used Adam Smith's "free market" economics, but which was corrupted by not having any governmental oversight or regulation. That allowed the landed gentry to keep stealing all their workers' labors and denying them the rights guaranteed in the bill of rights. Economics with no government regulation or oversight is "economic liberalism" which has kept the American people in virtual slavery to the landed gentry/Federalists.
From 1791 to 1932, their "economic liberalism" kept the American people in virtual slavery to the landed gentry/Federalists. It was not until their greed and hubris crashed America's and most of the world's economies in the first three years of the Great Depression start to enjoy the freedoms in the Bill of Rights and to start building their personal fortunes. FDR's "New Deal" programs solidified those freedoms and took the power of the 1%'s "economic liberalism" and put it where it belonged, in the hands of the people. The 1% has been trying to get that power back since then. Reagan laid the foundation for forcefully getting that power back. His tax cuts were meant to fund the long-range coup. Trump was supposed to carry-out the coup d'état before the end of his administration.
I cannot send the whole book over the open internet, But I could send a pertinent excerpt with sources cited. The only problem would be deciding which excerpt because there are so many instances of exposing the lies throughout the book. The time covered by this book is from 1700 and the American Age of Enlightenment to 1939. My Next book will bring the facts right up to date.
